Husband and Wife team and Proprietors of Crown Bakery, Trevor and Jennifer Selman migrated to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago and settled in NY. By 1999 they moved to Washington DC. Under the guidance of The Selmans, Crown has made a substantial contribution to the community through the preservation of its motto of "Passion, Preparation and Presentation. The result is a “home away from home” Caribbean Cuisine experience with the unique taste and style that is undoubtedly ‘Trini’ and truly satisfying!
In addition to providing baked products to the Caribbean and non-Caribbean population, Crown Bakery Restaurant also provides catering services to you as well as several embassies, associations and cultural organizations in the DC Metropolitan area. Mr. and Mrs. Selman received the Abassador's Award for Sterling Achievement and The Award of Excellence in 2008 for Business and Outstanding Community Service from The Embassy of Trinidad & Tobago.
